"Parc Marin de la Côte Bleue" is a joint association founded on 10 July 2000 to continue and give new impetus to the action carried out since 1983 by the "Parc Régional Marin de la Côte Bleue" association.

The 'Côte Bleue Marine' Natura 2000 site is exclusively a marine area. It encompasses the entire marine environment along the Côte Bleue up to a depth of 100 m to 6 nautical miles out at sea, so covering about 19,000 hectares.
