A former fishing village, Carry-le-Rouet still has its traditional fishing port. Accompanied or on your own, fishing is an activity for the whole family to enjoy.
Pesca Tourisme organises trips out at sea to discover the art of traditional fishing and the wide variety of fish species living in the Mediterranean. Marine professionals are excited to welcome you on their boats and demonstrate the work they do every day and their knowledge of the sea. Early in the morning, before sunrise, cast anchor and head out to witness the splendours of the coast bathed in the first rays of dawn. Feel the excited anticipation as the nets are raised... what treasures of the Mediterranean will be revealed? A wonderful experience in friendly company.

Choose from two sea fishing options on board the Cobra II. The first consists of returning the live fish (red tuna) back into the water after removing the hook, taking photos and marking the fish. The other entails using bait (throwing sardines in the sea). The fish you might catch include red tuna, sword fish, mahi-mahi, shark, bonito, skate and garrick, with the weight of catches between 40 and 100 kg. Different equipment is used, including thin roads and fixed spool reels. Fresh sensations guaranteed.

On your own, you can practise fishing from the bank or from a boat providing you respect the regulations in force. Fishing in the marine reserve is strictly prohibited. Sea patrols regularly monitor these waters. Respect the rules to avoid a fine.
