The Carry-le-Rouet Tourist Office undertakes to
Energy saving
We adapt the visibility of our building and the lighting according to the seasons and weather conditions.
The heating management is automated in winter (thermostat) and the air conditioning works thanks to an air cooling system. In addition, we favor the opening of doors and windows in summer.
The work tools standby mode is programmed on our workstations and we stop them as soon as the office closes.
We favor the acquisition of equipment that is economical in energy and water.
We send the mail in green letter (more economical, ecological, less CO² emission)
We dematerialize meetings and trainings as much as possible.
Our business trips are made in a reasoned and controlled manner (carpooling, etc.).
Selective sorting and waste management
We collect used batteries.
We recycle products for decoration during the organization of our events.
We have set up a common bin dedicated to sorting paper for future recycling.
Dog droppings bags are available on request.
We distribute beach ashtrays during the summer season at the reception of the OT in partnership with the local association Les Perles de La Côte Bleue.
Responsible purchasing
We use environmentally friendly products for our office supplies.
We give preference to labeled or certified items as much as possible.
We work as much as possible in partnership with eco-labeled companies
Paper saving
We adapt our stocks to real demand.
We systematically print on both sides and limit printing to documents useful to visitors. We print on demand.
We encourage visitors to download or receive requested documentation by email rather than sending it routinely by mail.
We always use draft for our daily work.
A destination for the public
We have drawn up "The good visitor charter" to encourage visitors to follow the main lines of sustainable development and to respect our environment.
We post our sustainable development commitments in the TO and on our website.
